Cake Project: Jersey Cake ~ SPAIN

I made two spain jersey cakes in one day..guess there’s a lot of spain fans out there..especially when they won euro 2012 😀  just moist chocolate cake with buttercream and edible images for the logos (I just know I cannot endure drawing the logo :p LOL)

Since I made two cakes at one go, I baked 3 batches of chocolate cakes, 2 in a 13×19 pan and 1 in an 8×8 pan. Split the cake in the 13×9 pan in two to make the ‘body’ and cut out some from the 8×8 pan for the sleeves and ‘glued’ them together with buttercream 🙂

Minnie Mouse Cake

a simple yet sweet and cute cake – Minnie mouse themed 😀

edible image on top – the cake is pink with minimalist white piping, and a cute little Minnie bow on top 😉

i was so excited to use my new #22 tip to decorate this cake, love the shells 😀

Angry Bird Cake

a request from my son, he wants an angry bird cake. just so happen we’re going for balik kampung, so we bring the cake back and sonny dearest shared his cake with all his cousins (cuti sekolah rupenye, ramai la yg ada 😉 )

Dino Cake

this cute Dino cake was for my son’s 2nd birthday. He bought this cake to school and share it with his friends. His teachers complemented on how good the cake tastes (yay!) 😀

sorry for the low quality pic, I was such in a hurry to send them to school, I couldn’t find the camera in time – so just snap with my cheap phone..sigh..

it’s made of 2 choc cakes, buttercream, and plenty of chocolates for the spots and eyes (even Hershey’s kisses for the spikes on the back – couldn’t see because of poor quality pic..sorry)

I’d sell this cake for RM50 (it’s 2 kilos, I could make it bigger if u want to 😉 )

Mickey!

it’s time for mickey again! order from a friend for her daughter. moist choc cake with fudge n buttercream. ears and nose coated with crushed oreos 😉 cake is about 1.5kg, size 10.5″. selling for RM50.

since little boy loves mickey so much, made this mickey cake especially for him. butter cake with basic butter cream (really nice baby blue color) with edible image..price? i’d say around RM30-40 (edible image is a bit pricey) 🙂

Clear the Runaway!

this airplane cake was made for my eldest son’s 2nd birthday..he just got on his first flight a few days before and was still excited being on an airplane..so, at the time it was most appropriate 🙂
