Malay wedding door gifts/ favors (bunga telur): with over 500 to 1000 guests invited to a Malay wedding, it’s only logic to have budgeted door gifts for the guests.  Usually the bride n groom’s family prepare different types of door gifts, special ones with bigger budget for special and VIP guests, while they prepare an acceptable gifts for ALL of their guests. Traditionally people give out boiled eggs wrapped nicely and decorated pretty – thus the name “bunga telur” (translated: egg bouquet).

Nowadays, the trend is changing, influenced by the trends from all over the globe, the gifts for guest has changed into more personalised wedding favors or door gifts. Popular door gifts include sweets, candles, chocolates, and many more . Budget cupcakes are one of the favourite options 😉

Decorated Red Velvet Cupcakes

I received a request to decorate red velvet cupcakes..I end up frosting the cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and piped writings and patterns using a red buttercream 🙂 was going for the filled frosting effect on the cupcakes…could have done better I suppose 😀

Early Morning Baking

Woke up early this morning to bake some cupcakes for hubby to bring to his office today 🙂 they’re having a potluck 😀 oh..how I miss potlucks!! 😦

baked 16 pcs of choc cuppies, topped with vanilla buttercream n sprinkled some chocolate rice on top…yummy! (too bad the cupcakes sunk after cooling :(..*wonders what went wrong* 😐

why 16 pieces? well, only 16 could fit in the Tupperware! 😀 😀 😀

 

Cupcakes – Upin & Ipin

byk request utk wat cuppies upin & ipin ni..maklumla diorg ni sgt comel n lovable..alhamdulillah arini berjaya jugak siapkan satu set 😉 (susah sket nk dpt gambar depa ni, glemer sgt..cepat noo sold out..hehe)

harga tetap sama, 16 pcs = RM25 (sampai April 2012 je..harap maklum ;))

Cupcakes marathon

we were joining a gathering / mini convoy with Toyota Estima TCR group to Kuala Woh last weekend. Everyone’s supposed to bring something – pot luck style..so, I prepared some cupcakes for them, and it was a huge hit! (as there were lotsa kids obviously ;)) thanks everyone for the great response 😀
